Program areas at Tampa Crossroads

The supportive services for veteran families (ssvf) program rapidly houses us veterans and their families who are experiencing homelessness and prevents homelessness for those at imminent risk due to a housing crisis in eight counties in the Tampa bay area.
Rapid rehousing - the rapid rehousing program is designed to promote housing stability to individuals experiencing homelessness in hillsborough county, fl. We provide case management, housing, employment, and financial assistance for rent, utilities, security deposits, and moving costs. Our intention is that upon exit from our program the households will be prepared to independently manage their household expenses.
The veterans assistance center (vac) of Tampa Crossroads has assessed and provided critical services to over 3,000 homeless veterans and their families over the past 8 years. The ssvf program is designed to promote housing stability to homeless, low-income veteran families andto prevent at-risk veterans from becoming homeless. We provide case management, housing, employment, and short-term direct financial assistance for rent, utilities, security deposits, moving costs, emergency supplies, child care and transportation.
