Description
Global Field Evangelism aims to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with as many people as possible, as quickly as possible. They teach and disciple indigenous evangelists in developing countries on how to do evangelism and pastoral ministry. The network of national evangelists operates in 6 African countries, preaching in various locations all year round. Rather than conducting personal overseas preaching projects, Shad Williams Evangelistic Association invests its funds directly into expanding the overseas Global Field Evangelism network.

Program areas at Global Field Evangelism

The Global Field Evangelism network of national evangelists exists in 6 countries in Africa: Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, Rwanda, and Tanzania. These teams work all year round preaching in villages, market-places, prisons, high schools, colleges, and at Jesus Film shows. They are funded to do these meetings and receive personal support from the US ministry of SWEA. This year they conducted 18,205 separate meetings. They preached to over 14,623,000 people and recorded 13,759,000 individuals who indicated a decision for Christ. They also held 145 seminars where they trained over 15,400 pastors, evangelists, and lay-people on how to do personal evangelism and how to conduct church-wide and mass evangelism events.
Direct support for 2 orphanages in Eldoret Kenya. Money was used for food, clothing, medical care, and education of orphans.
Shad Williams Evangelistic Association did not conduct any personal overseas evangelistic preaching projects this year. Instead we took the funds that would have gone into our travel expenses and invested them directly into the expansion of the overseas Global Field Evangelism work. That increase in funding on the international side enabled us to see a significant increase in productivity out in the field. We also spent a great deal of time administering and continuing to develop the new fields we were able to expand into two years ago, as well as adding additional equipment to the field. We also spent time working on additional book distribution for overseas ministry.
Giving to support other religious organizations. A pastor in Haiti was sponsored for his Christian radio program that reaches all of Haiti and into the Dominican Republic and for humanitarian aid ($2,800). Eagle Projects International (501c3 organization in Sangerville, ME) was supported for evangelistic work ($1,200).
