Since 1985, SET has cultivated relationships with people living in poverty in Milwaukee to bring the healing support that is necessary to journey on a path toward increased self-sufficiency.

Program areas at SET Ministry

The adult services program supports senior adults to maintain health, stabilize housing, and enhance their quality of life while aging-in-place in the community. Over 40% of persons served have been diagnosed with some form of behavioral health illness. Similar services are provided to disabled younger adults, too.
The school social services program seeks to lead children toward strong emotional and behavioral growth and enables students to overcome adversity and reach their academic potential focusing on central city school children and their families.
The family empowerment program guides central city milwaukee families to reach individualized goals in the areas of health, housing, education, employment, and relationships to facilitate family function and promote family integrity.
