Program areas at Yairockland County Association for People with Disabilities
Residential services - yai/rcapd offers adults with developmental Disabilities the opportunity to live in individual or small-group living arrangements in the community. The residencies provide a homelike atmosphere for individuals with developmental Disabilities spanning a broad range, from those who require 24-hour assistance and supervision, to those who need just a few hours of guidance a week.
Home and community based services - the full range of home and community based services provide training and supports that enhance the lives of People with Disabilities and stregthen their family units.
Employment initiative services - yai/rcapd offers comprehensive employment training for individuals with Disabilities. Through our partnership with participating companies, yai/rcapd helps to find employment opportunities suitable for placing our program graduates.
Family support services provide in home respite, service coordination, parent support group and a variety of structured recreation activities to entertain, educate and promote individual growth.
