- initiative: supply chain security: the study details baseline knowledge of current utility industry standards and actions on supply chain security, identifies gaps in supply chain security protocols, and provides 18 specific recommendations for improvements to effectively strengthen supply chain security.- initiative: pop cyber advisory support service: in partnership with naruc. Pop conducted a high-profile webinar on the cyberspace solarium commission report, which was attended by 180 regulatory agency and utility participants from all 50 states- federal legislative initiatives: provided input and advocated for passage in the senate energy & natural resources committee of provisions mandating cybersecurity investments, grant programs to assist rural and municipal utilities, and broader and more comprehensive information sharing on cyber risks. All three provisions were included in the committee's comprehensive energy package - cyberspace solarium commission: the cyberspace solarium commission (csc) was established in the john s. mccain national defense authorization act for fiscal year 2019 to develop a consensus on a strategic approach to defending the united states in cyberspace against cyberattacks of significant consequences.
