Pennsylvania State Association for Health Physical Education Recreation

Psahperd is organized to promote and foster quality Health and Physical Education programs in Pennsylvania schools. Psahperd is working in collaboration with the pa department of Education to update and maintain clear and rigorous Education standards for Pennsylvania teachers and teacher candidates. With these standards, pa students will have access to quality programming that instills lifelong, healthy behaviors both physically and mentally. Psahperd recognizes and awards excellence in the profession through their award program each year at the State convention. Professional development and networking are held yearly at a State convention, one-day workships and online opportunities.
