Program areas at Oakdale Neighbors
Youth programs: offered through the Oakdale Neighbors learning café including, an after-school program providing students with free, individualized tutoring throughout the school year and summer camps, which focus on reading, coding, and robotics, among other topics, in the summer. To ensure consistent and equitable access to programming, transportation is provided for all programming.
Boston square community bikes program: provides free workspace, tools, and repair coaching to community members. Services provide access to safe, affordable, and sustainable transportation by bicycle. All services are free, or low-cost and are guided by trained volunteers or staff.
Community engagement: comprised of resources designed to engage community members in strengthening their community and bettering themselves. Resources include financial literacy, neighborhood safety meetings, and coordination of community events providing services to residents.
