Residential services:residential services provide individuals with developmental disablities an integrated home environment in the greater community with a focus on the development of both independent and daily living skills. In order to enable individuals to reach their fullest potential, a comprehensive array of services and opportunities are offered which maximize growth, personal satisfaction, independence and community involvment based on individual strengths, assets and abilities. 112 persons served.
Day habilitation program:the day habilitation program provides integrated services and opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities in order to maximize each person's capacity for growth, personal satisfaction, independence and involvement in the greater community. Individually-tailored programs which reflect each person's preferences, interests and identified needs are created in order to enable individuals to realize their fullest potential. 271 persons served.
Day training program:the day training program provides individuals with developmental disabilities opportunities for developing vocational and social skills training. In order to enable individuals to realize their fullest potential, real and simulated tasks and projects are offered with the goal to prepare people for employment in the greater community. Individualized and group skill-building focusing on personal strengths for inclusion in the greater community workforce. Opportunities for placement in community employment offer optimum support for individuals seeking to obtain and maintain employment. 87 persons served.
Transportation: the transportation department provides daily, specialized services to approximately 271 individuals who participate in our day and residential programs. Transportation services include trips to and from our programs as well as to and from recreational, respite and medical services and community outings.
Other: other services include medicaid service coordination and family support services. The medicaid service coordinator helps individuals and their families to develop, implement and maintain the persons life plan, to advocate for him or her in all areas of life, especially in the two main areas of protecting and upholding personal rights and ensuring that the living environment is safe. Our family support program provides families with the support services and relief needed so that they can remain and interact as a family as long as they desire. Respite services can take form of individual or small group situations.
