The organization was established to lessen the burden on State and local governments and to assist, promote and further the purpose of effective law enforcement by interacting with the general public, the media, governmental police to effectuate the prevention, detection and prosecution of criminal acts by offering rewards designed to motivate members of the general public to cooperate by providing anonymous information.
In 2022, approximately 600 tips were received regarding various crimes, including drug trafficking and terrorism reporting. The organization continues to offer rewards for the apprehension of criminals who commit the heinous crimes of homicide, armed robbery, rape, etc. When requested by law enforcement.
The organization continued its partnership with internal revenue service criminal investigation (irs-ci) to empower citizens to assist in investigations of financial and tax crimes.
