Program areas at New Center Community Mental Health Services
The adult outpatient program provides services to assist mentally ill individuals and their families so that they may function at their greatest potential in the community. Services include: 1) comprehensive bio-psycho-social assessments, 2) individualized treatment planning, 3) individual, family, and group therapies, 4) nursing case management, 5) problem-focused education, 6) psychiatric medication management, and 7) referrals for community resources.
The children's outpatient program provides services to severely emotionally disturbed youth between the ages of 6 and 18 years old. Services include assessments, treatment planning, individual, group and family therapies, nursing case management, psychiatric education and medication management and referrals for community resources.
The case management program provides services to support consumers with mental illness living in homes meeting residential care standards. It also provides supportive services to consumers transitioning to independent living arrangements.
Other includes partial hospitalization program, intensive day treatment, assertive community treatment (ACT), and special programs.
