Program areas at National Physicians Alliance Foundation

The Secure Health Care for All projects endorse the principles of the Institute of Medicine that health care must be universal, portable, high quality, and affordable for all individuals in our society. Our project: champion the responsibility of physicians to practice evidence-based medicine, serve as responsible stewards of finite clinical resources participate in the civic work of policy development relevant publi health at the local, state, and federal level. The projects provide issue and communications training to physicians who are encouraged to become spokespersons for NPA values and "patients first" policies in their workplace, communities and nation. Projects includes the A. Gene Copello Health Advocacy Fellowship, as well as NPA's work to address gun violence
