Milpitas Christian School's elementary program equips children in transitional kindergarten/kindergarten through 5th grade. Children, created in the image of god, deserve a complete education for their mind (mental), heart (emotional), soul (spiritual) and body (physical). In the early grades, the emphasis is on a developmental approach to learning. We assist students to become good citizens. Our music, drama, art and physical skill developments help children appreciate beauty in god's creation. By learning to express their creative impulses in pleasing ways, students develop healthy habits and a sense of Christian fellowship and sportsmanship.by integrating technology and robotics into elementary education, children develop an exceptional academic foundation at the earliest years. Our meritorious outdoor education, choral/instrumental music programs and academic competitions are inspirational highlights. Mcs students perform very well on standardized achievement tests, like terranova 3 (complete battery). For 2018, grade 4-8 students exceeded the 85th percentile of national School norms published by national blue ribbon School.

Milpitas Christian School's middle School program encourages 6th through 8th grade students to become creative and complex thinkers with depth and complexity. As spiritually dynamic and academically prepared individuals, they are ready to interact meaningfully with each other and our society. By providing a framework to instill higher-order thinking skills (analyzing, evaluating, synthesizing information), students go far beyond remembering facts and understanding context. Our curriculum helps students to reach a position and support their belief based upon their critical decision-making skills. Extracurricular programs include competitive athletics, robotics and the arts (yearbook, drama, bands, and choirs). Outdoor education expands their understanding with a focus on earth science (6th grade), life science plus community service (7th grade) and leadership (8th grade). We endeavor to inspire a love of learning that will take them far beyond their formal schooling years and into a lifetime of challenges and growth. Graduating eighth graders have a smooth transition into elite private high schools and rigorous public high schools.
Science, technology and math are integral to the complete learning experience for each student at Milpitas Christian School. Special events include ocean week (all grades), rancho day (4th grade) and colonial day (5th grade). Starting in kindergarten, children begin experiencing technology through robotics and practical applications. Beginning in the 4th grade, students may choose instrumental music instruction and band (multiple options). In the 5th grade, world languages instruction begins. Middle School students have multiple options for competitive athletics (e.g., softball, soccer, flag football, volleyball and basketball). National and regional competitions (vary by grade level) include spelling bee, speech, science, robotics, math and art.our afterschool extended care program provides optional on-site courses (e.g., engineering, chess, creative art, food explorers, tennis, and mandarin chinese). The renaissance club is for gifted learners and offers additional enrichment classes.
