Funding cancer research. The Foundation has supported research efforts in institutions across the united states, as well as internationally. The Foundation seeks to increase funding for research efforts, clinical studies, and other programs designed to find effective treatments, and ultimately a cure, for Dipg and other cancers.
Supporting families. The Foundation is a resource for families confronting Dipg and other cancers. The Foundation provides clear and understandable information on the disease, including the nature of the disease and available treatments and studies, through the website, direct engagement, and other means.
Raising awareness. The Foundation engages communities across the country to make a broader audience aware of Dipg and other cancers. With education of the public, and creation of a broader coalition of supporters, the Foundation will drive additional resources to essential research efforts. The Foundation's work led to establishment of the first-ever Dipg awareness day in Maryland in 2016.
