Program areas at LAI

Education Program Lux provides educational resources both on and off campus. Our on-campus programming includes art classes and workshops that reach hundreds of students per year and focus on practices including Ceramics, Painting Drawing, Sculpture, Art History, and STEAM classes. Youth programs reach students age 4-18, while adults classes are for all ages 18. The Valise program is an off-campus program that brings museum quality art to schools in San Diego County to provide art enrichment through common core. The Aging Creatively program provides educational art tours and activities to seniors 55. Supplementary educational programs and events reach broader audiences through lectures, tours, demonstrations, and performances. Other programs includue Membership, Progam rentals,Art Gallery, Special Events, and Artist Residencies.
