LA Contemporary Dance

During FY 2022 LA Contemporary Dance Company produced the following performances and programs: Our Winter Intensive had 25 students and 3 instructors and an audience of 55; our Summer Intensive had 45 students and 12 instructors and an audience of 75. We provided scholarships and fellowships for both the Summer and Winter Intensives. Our LMU Children's Concerts were attended by 150 people. Our Company Class Series was attended by 250 students and was taught by 8 instructors.We presented Dancing in the Snow at the Odyssey Theatre for 8 performances with a total audience attendance of 396 and featured the talents of 12 dancers 1 choreographer 4 designers and 2 stage managers. Later we presented the same show at the ODC Theater for four performances 166 audience attendance which featured the talents of 12 dancers 1 choreographer 4 designers and 1 stage manager. We presented two works co-commissioned by the Cultural Office of the Embassy of Spain which were enjoyed by 200 audience members and featured the talents of 12 dancers 2 choreographers and 3 designers. We completed the creative process of and then life was beautiful with a dance film and live performance premiere which was attended by 75 audience members and featured 8 artists 1 choreographer and 2 designers.Finally we produced 4 performances premiering 3 new works at Stomping Ground L.A. that was attended by 275 audience members and featured the talents of 12 dancers 3 choreographers 2 designers and 2 producers.
