International Plant Nutrition Institute

Research program - the objective of the research program is to advance high yield crop research through a staff of highly trained ph.d. agronomists working with researchers at land grant universities, International research centers, International fertilizer development center, and other officially recognized agricultural organizations and government agencies. The Institute contributed financially to 140 programs and research projects in the united states and other countries during 2018.

Educational program - the objective of the educational program is to disseminate scientific information that helps advance the responsible use of crop nutrients in achieving higher yields, improving crop quality, and protecting the environment. The agronomic staff made 263 presentations at conferences and training meetings during 2018. The Institute also distributes publications through a mailing list of approximately 35,000 researchers, farmers, fertilizer dealers, extension agents, and university and government agency personnel. The Institute works with elementary school systems in developing content that teachers can use as lesson plans to teach about Plant Nutrition.
