The purpose of the iloa is to expand human understanding of the cosmos through observation from the moon.in 2022, iloa was involved in the following activities: - contracted intuitive machines to help in delivering a new camera imaging system to capture images of the moon's surface and the first images of the milky way galaxy center. - iloa conducted a series of 4 International galaxy forum events for teachers, students and the general public. Forums were held in the following locations: - singapore, southeast asia (july 27, 2022) - hutchinson, Kansas, usa (august 27, 2022) - scarsdale, ny, usa (september 30, 2022) - kamuela, hi, usa (november 16, 2022)
