Hopehealth Massachusetts, Inc. ("hh-ma") ceased providing its outpatient hospice operations serving the cape cod and island communities and its inpatient hospice services at the mccarthy care center ("mcc") effective january 31, 2019. Subsequent to receiving approval from the Massachusetts supreme judicial court, hh-ma transferred mcc property to cape cod healthcare ("cchc") on september 24, 2019. Hh-ma ceased operating as a separate legal entity and merged it's operations into hope health & palliative care rhode island ("hhhpc").prior to ceasing activities hh-ma touched the lives of people coping with serious illness with dedicated services and special support. (see schedule o) Hopehealth Massachusetts, Inc. Served thousands of people each year delivering a wide range of services throughout eastern Massachusetts. Focusing on providing innovative care with the utmost skill, compassion and respect. Established in 1981 as hospice of cape cod, hh-ma was one of the nation's pioneer programs with services including hope hospice, hope care for kids, hope dementia & alzheimer's services and hope academy.
