Head Start Child Development Council

Head Start basic services: the organization provides Child Development services to more than 2,000 low-income children and their families. They also provide an integrated curriculum of health, nutrition, education, and social services to prepare children for the mainstream of broader american society.

Child care food program: the program provides meals and snacks to the children in the program.

Early Head Start basic services: the early Head Start program provides resources to community programs that 1)provide early, individualized Child Development and parent education services to low-income infants and toddlers and their families, through an appropriate mix of home visits, experiences at the early Head Start center and experiences in other settings such as family or center-based Child care 2)connect with other service providers at the local level to ensure that a comprehensive array of health, nutrition, and other services is provides to the program's pregnant women, very young children, and their families.
