Guilrock United Methodist Camp

Camp Guilrock centers its ministry on its mission statement, "discover creation, experience god, and grow in faith." With this as our focus, we provide a healthy environment for groups to have their best event and make lasting memories. The Camp space that we offer hosts a range of events from youth groups to scout troops, birthday parties to the occasional wedding, and regular fishermen to our biggest ministry, day Camp. These groups and more are given the opportunity to enjoy our facilities and develop lasting relationships with each other and with christ. Guilrock United Methodist Camp, Inc. has continued to grow and reach more people throughout our immediate and surrounding community, leading to increased enrollment in our summer day Camp program. Day Camp now has nine weeks and accommodates up to 40 campers per week with campers as close as reidsville and brown summit, to as far as eden and greensboro. This allowed us to serve 211 campers over the summer. There was also a change in Camp directors in the second quarter of the year, just before the summer started, but operations did not halt. We have continued to improve our rental expereience for all of our guests which has led to steady growth in usage of the property throughout the year. This includes a full renovation of our cabin space, new event venues, and brand new waterfront equipment. In 2022, our golf tournament changed dates and courses, due to a hurricane, but it was still our most successful tournament yet. The director and board of directors are all looking forward to the continued growth of Camp Guilrock's ministry and are always working to implement new programs and strategies to help further the Camp's growth in each coming year.
