Transportation - program used to transport Food to/from sources both within and outside the state of Michigan. Funded by grants from the state of Michigan department of social services and private donations.

Processing - program that is dedicated to harvesting, cleaning, packaging, and distributing surplus agricultural commodities.

Purchasing program - program dedicated to the buying of Food so that the Food banks may be able to disburse it to those in need. Expenses 139,360. Including grants of 114,515. Revenue . Not including the estimated non-cash value of Food donated and distributed, fbcm had revenue of 99,053,292 and expenses of 99,059,418 . The distribution of the donated Food takes place through member Food banks and their network of Food pantries, meal programs, group homes, and mobile distribution sites. Additionally, fresh produce, dairy, and frozen produce are distributed to member Food banks. In 2022, fbcm distributed a total of 50.839 million pounds of Food.
