THE FAMILY YMCA OF GREATER LAURENS IS VERY PROUD TO BE THE LEADING PROVIDER OF PROGRAMS FOR FAMILIES “AND INDIVIDUALS IN THE LAURENS COMMUNITY WE PROVIDE A WIDE RANGE OF OPPORTUNITIES OUR WELLNESS DEPARTMENT OFFERS A DIVERSE RANGE OF CLASSES AS WELL AS PARTNERS WITH THE LOCAL MEDICAL COMMUNITY TO “COMBAT THE HEALTH ILLS OF THE COUNTY SUCH AS DIABETES WE STRENGTHEN FAMILIES BY OFFERING FAMILY "WELLNESS CLASSES IN OUR AQUATIC CENTER AND IN THE WELLNESS STUDIO THE YMCA PARTNERS WITH THE "LAURENS COUNTY DISABILITIES AND SPECIAL NEEDS BOARD TO PROVIDE EXERCISE AND SPECIAL ENTERTAINMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR THEIR CLIENTS EACH OF OUR SPORT TEAMS IS COMPRISED OF VOLUNTEER COACHES WHO “TYPICALLY ARE A PARENT OF ONE OF THE PARTICIPANTS. IN OUR SPORTS PROGRAMS, WE UNDERSTAND THE “IMPORTANCE OF PROVIDING QUALITY PROGRAMS TO THE COMMUNITY OUR SPORTS PROGRAMS INCLUDE SUCH SPORTS AS SOCCER, CHEERLEADING, BASEBALL, BASKETBALL, WRESTLING, TAE KWON DO AND FLAG FOOTBALL.
