The Community Based Family Services (CBFS) served families investigated by CPS who were designated low priority, were considered low risk cases, or who did not have confirmed allegations of abuse or neglect. Services provided include home visitation, case management, parent education and additional services proven increase the likelihood of a safe and stable home environment. The Batterers Intervention and Prevention Program (BIPP) provides a batterers intervention training course. The goal of the course is to change attitudes and beliefs that lead to violent, abusive and controlling behaviors; and develop abuse free relationships that promote mutual growth, respect and satisfaction.
