Eagb's overarching goal is to elevate awareness of the Greater Baltimore region as a location of choice for business growth and development. To achieve this goal, eagb analyzes the competitive strength of the strategic growth industries that drive the Economic vitality in the seven jurisdictions that comprise the Greater Baltimore region and packages this information as part of a messaging platform for business attraction, growth and retention.
Eagb brings together business, government, education and non-profit leaders to market the region's Economic development assets and opportunities through a multi-faceted marketing platform. Working in partnership with its board members and other stakeholders, eagb provides current data within a robust positive messaging program and aggressive outreach within and beyond the Greater Baltimore region to build awareness of the region's competitive strengths and facilitate alliances and partnerships as a catalyst for business growth, attraction and retention.
Eagb and its board of private, non-profit, institutional and government members, works collaboratively with Economic development partners, including the state of Maryland's department of commerce, local Economic development agencies and industry-focused trade organizations to facilitate and strengthen the ecosystem needed for business growth, attraction and retention.
