Federal legislative activity: federal affairs: ddal supported the prevent all soring tactics (past) act (h.r. 5441/s. 2295); the save america's forgotten equines (safe) act (h.r. 3355/s. 2732); the humane cosmetics act and providing responsible emergency plans for animals at risk of emerging disasters (prepared) act (h.r. 1442). Ddal also supported the puppy protection act of 2021 (h.r. 2840/s. 1385). Ddal also supported various legislative and regulatory work related to ending trophy hunting. Coalitions: coalition for consumer information on cosmetics (ccic): ddal provided funding for the steering committee for ddal, which manages the u.s. standard for "cruelty-free" cosmetics and household products.
