Program areas at Disability Rights of Pennsylvania
Paimi: a program designed to provide protection and advocacy services to individuals who have a mental health Disability. Priorities for legal and advocacy services include abuse, neglect, Rights violations, access to mental health services, non-discrimination in school, employment, housing, health care, and public accommodations, and systems change work. In addition, drp provided training, outreach, and referral to other programs and services.
Representative payee: a program designed to review and monitor financial exploitation, abuse, and neglect of beneficiaries of representative payees. The program increases oversight and protection for some of Pennsylvania's most vulnerable citizens.
Padd: a program designed to provide protection and advocacy services to individuals with a developmental Disability. Priorities for legal and advocacy services include abuse, neglect, access to health care and waiver services, non-discrimination in school, employment, housing, public accommodations, and system change work. In addition, drp provided training, outreach and referral to other programs and services.
Protection and advocacy for individual Rights, protection and advocacy for assistive technology, protection and advocacy for individuals with traumatic brain injury, protection and advocacy for voting access, protection and advocacy for beneficiaries of social security, workforce incentives planning and assistance program, grant for promoting autonomy for montgomery county residents with intellectual and similar disabilities, and facility advocacy for state-run intermediate care facilities for individuals with developmental disabilities.
