Program areas at Compassion Institute

Compassion-based professional, leadership, and organizational development for the health sector. Compassion Institute's compassion-based interventions equip health professionals with tools and skills for self and collective care. By collaborating with healthcare providers and organizations, we co-create compassionate organizational cultures and systems that align with the values and mission of providers and the well-being of their patients and communities.
As part of our public programs, we offer evidenced-based secular courses in Compassion training including:cct (Compassion cultivation training, our 8-week flagship course), cct teacher training (the cct teacher training program is a teaching certification program for individuals and organizations who are passionate about Compassion education and aspire to teach cct classes in their communities. ), building Compassion from the inside out (a 2-week self-paced course for those intersted in the basic tools of Compassion training), and other compassion-based training programs for the general public.
Courageous heart: the human behind the badgetraining is designed specifically by Compassion Institute for, and in partnership with, law enforcement and public service personnel. Our courses offer a combination of practical training, tools, meditation, discussion in small and large groups, as well as optional out-of-classroom assignments.
