Program areas at CLC

Tvc - the veterans program offers financial assistance to low income veterans served during war time along with surviving spouses. This service was provided as a one time service that assists in quality of life and removing barriers to employment. The housing for real Texas heros program offered home modifications for low income or service connected disabled veterans and surviving spouses. The program provides ada compliant modification, weatherization and improving quality of life.
Wagner peyser - this program provides innovative training and employment opportunities to workers with barriers to employment to meet the high regional demand for entry-level residential hvacr mechanics and technicians, primarily within the regional construction industry.
Youthbuild - the academic and occupational classroom instructors reinforce to participants how classroom and workplace lessons are essential to Learning to become employable. Project-based Learning is the central method by which these two youthbuild programs components are integrated into the fort worth program.
Reo - young adults the purpose of this program is to provide skills training and direct placement services to young adults who have a juvenile or adult criminal background. The program combines case management, financial literacy coaching and job placement services.
Self sufficiency - to provide job training that will lead to industry - recognized certificates and credentials for adults recipients of temporary assistance for needy families (tanf) and supplemental nutritional assistance program(snap) individuals earning less than $37,000 annually with a dependent child (custodial or noncustodial) or individuals at risk of becoming dependent on public assistance.
Clc provides training and employment services from federal, state, and local funds including:tarrant county small business - grant to assist small businesses who were affected by the covid-19 pandemic to help business with the costs of business interruption. Pgim - youthbuild - partnership with youthbuild international/pgim real estate to increase livelihood outcomes amoung youthbuild students who engage in partnership activities and increase positive placements in the job industry.court involved youth - youthbuild - career pathways, improving services to court-involved youth with job training and placement servicesstrategic planning - grant was to see how we can grow and improve clc. (clc contracted with social impact architects to conduct employee surveys to identify areas we need to focus on. Like rebranding our logo, training, and better utilization of technology.
