Community Association Managers International Certification Board (CAMICB)

The certified manager of Community associations (cmca) credentialing program was created to ensure that Community Association Managers have the fundamental knowledge required to effectively manage a common interest Community, including homeowners, condominium, and cooperative associations. Camicb has credentialed over 23,000 Managers around the world. Cmca credential holders have demonstrated working knowledge of the core operational and administrative functions recognized in the profession's defined body of knowledge. In recent years, an education campaign was implemented to educate consumers, homeowners, and Managers about Camicb and the cmca credential, including ongoing outreach to and communication with all stakeholders and the maintenance of a robust website that provides a comprehensive overview of the cmca credentialing program. A focused effort has been made to encourage Managers to pursue Certification and to underscore the value of the credential to homeowners and homeowner leaders.
