Catholic Eldercare's mission is to provide a full continuum of care for older adults and to give each person options they need to live life as fully as possible. To accomplish this, the organization operates a 174 bed skilled nursing facility (24 of the beds are used for transitional care) for the elderly of Minneapolis and surrounding communities, serving approximately 389 people in 2020-2021 with a full array of care services. Catholic Eldercare works in partnership with families and communities to ensure the best quality of life for their residents.

Program areas at Catholic Eldercare

The organization operates a 174 bed skilled nursing facility (24 of the beds are used for transitional care) for the elderly of minneapolis and surrounding communities. The facility serves the elderly with a full array of services from twenty four hour nursing care and physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. Programs are available for social, pastoral care as well as many other activities to provide a holistic approach to the needs of the elderly. Nutritional needs are provided for along with assistance with daily living activities as required. The facility employs approximately 380 people full and part time and has approximately 20 volunteers that participate and help with activities for the elderly and providing a strong link to the community.
