Program areas at Cache Arts
In FY22 18 organizations presented 81 performances in the Ellen Eccles Theatre to 47,251 patrons and 4 student matinees for 2,726 students. These events included nationally touring artists presented by CacheARTS, out of area artists that rented the theatre and locally produced resident company performances. Notably absent was long-time resident company Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theatre. Volunteer ushers donated 3,708 hours for these events.In FY23 there were 1,226 enrollments in 102 arts education courses and community user events at the Center for the Arts. These courses included creative drama, ceramics, dance, music, visual arts, painting, guitar, piano, and photography. Some classes are organized by CacheARTS, some are fiscally sponsored, and others are independent renters.
