The purpose of Big grothers Big Sisters is to organize, under professional direction, mature, responsible and carefully screened individuals to provide, on a volunteer basis, a one-to-one mentoring relationship to children and youth who lack stable relationships with adults. The agency, through its volunteers and staff, will provide companionship, guidance and a positive role model to these children to help them reach their academic, social and emotional goals.
