(vi) construction of ranger transit camp in gomathang in wangchuck national park is completed. (vii) paro division forest office completed maintenance works in zonglayla office and haa range office. (viii) camera trapping, data management refresher training and review spanning for Bhutan tiger survey for 24 offices completed.

(ii) cultivated 4 acres of state reserve forest land with banana & ficus saplings. Invasive saplings removed. (iii) an artifical waterhold of 0.23 acres of state reserve forest land created in lower peljoring. (iv) new range office in tashicholing constructed for Conservation management of elephant. (v) 11054.73 ha of local management plan for namgaycholing gewog comprising of current & future management plan developed.
Mb0196y19: strenthening forest fire management in Bhutan through participatory approach-fped-dofpobjective: sustainable management of forest resources for biodiversity Conservation, efficient Environmental services & viable livelihoods.accomplishment:(i) developed prescribed burning guidelines & plans through practical session field/data collection. (ii) procured drone for the surveillance for detection and monitoring of forest fire. (iii) trained 1138 royal Bhutan army, royal Bhutan police, dessups and stakeholders on forest fire management. (iv) consultative workshop for prescribed burning involving communities, local government, rbp, rba and dessups conducted. (v) stakeholders given the first hand lessions on pre-burn activity on fire break creation and on safety measures. (vi) developed communication network for incidence reporting & coordinating suppression through training on fire suppression.

(ii) over 100 seedlings on chorespondias axillaris has been raised and refilled the dead and damaged. (iii) trained over 60 farmers (recipients of rhizomes) for proper management of bamboo at project sites. Mb0199y19: critical watershed management of richulum watershed-dopshari gewog, paroobjective: sustainably manage the critical watershed & meet the increasing demand for water for drinking & irrigation.accomplishment: (i) over 400 copies of pes handbook printed and distributed to public for better understanding of pes. (ii) a total of three (03) pes sites established and created in paro ensuring ownership and sustainability of the project. (iii) richhulum watershed categorized into four sub watershed; rinchending, samakha, nysina and damchen. (iv) planted over 2000 seedlings of blue pink, oak, spruce, hemlock and dog wood in degraded watershed area. (v) a book watershed management plan for richulum watershed developed and distributed for communities in richulum.
