Description
Association of State Correctional Administrators promotes the profession of corrections, supports each state department of corrections, and seeks improvements in policy and practices that affect public safety with a mission to improve state correctional systems. They award scholarships to children of correction institution employees for bachelor's degrees and graduate students pursuing degrees in criminal justice. The Association provides training for all State directors of corrections and an orientation program for newly appointed State directors of corrections.
