Program areas at Arise Child and Family Service
The consumer directed personal assistance program (cdpap) empowers individuals by providing them with greater control over in-home personal care. Cdpap gives consumers the flexibility to choose the person who provides their home care services on a schedule that fits their lifestyle. Approximately 313 people were served.
Child and Family services provides mental health support to children and their families, and adults in onondaga and oswego counties. We provide services in multiple locations (clinics, schools, neighborhood centers, medical practice locations) with the goal of increasing access for those in need. These services are licensed and certified by the new york state office of mental health. Approximately 2,458 people were served.
The community habilitation program helps people with developmental disabilities learn, improve, or maintain independent living skills both within the home and in the community. Approximately 149 people were served.
Other advocacy and support programs serving the needs of people with disabilities include employment services, independent living and other programs. These services are designed to enhance the skills and support the interests of people having intellectual, development, or physical disabilities.
