1. Reached communities across the US with our educational programs and materials. A. Held 48 virtual or on-demand Signature Programs with community partners reaching over 2,500 consumers, B. Participated in 3 health fairs, reaching an estimated 500 consumers, C. Processed over 22,000 risk assessments with the American Bone Health Fracture Risk Calculator, D. Trained 381 new volunteers across the US, E. Reached almost 4,000 people across the US with "Your Bone Health Plan" educational email campaign, F. Reached over 608,000 people who generated over 1,755,500 page views on the American Bone Health website, and G. Shared updates and resources with over 7,500 followers on social media. 2. Collaborated with other organizations to raise awareness of bone health. A. Collaborated with the National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses to conduct a study on the impact of educating nurses about bone health on their nursing practices, B. Participated in coalitions such as the Women's Health Innovation Coalition, Secondary Fracture Prevention Coalition, NIAMS Coalition, and Coalition to Strenghten Bone Health, C. Continued training Delta Phi Lambda Sorority sisters on osteoporosis prevention, and D. Provided custom redirect links to American Bone Health Fracture Risk Calculator to partner organizations, like US Bone and Joint Initiative, Osteoarthritis Action Alliance, Bone Health and Osteoporosis Foundation, SoftBones, Tigerlily Foundation, and more. 3. Advanced new pathways for bone health education, screening and awareness. A. Led and facilitated Healthy Bones Tampa Bay a multidisciplinary coalition of stakeholders with the goal of reducing fractures in the area by 20% by 2025. Engaged 69 community organizations and 114 participants, B. Conducted surveys with an estimated 1,700 people to understand bone ehalth knowledge, motiviations and behaviors to inform new services and programs, and C. Provided an online bone health training curriculum for case managers who see clients living with HIV (and at-risk population), activating them to help their clients manage their bone health and prevent fractures. 4. Increased reach through online and virtual platforms. A. Launched "I Had No Idea" educational campaign via email and social media, featuring videos of people who'd learned something new about their bone health from American Bone Health to help spread awareness of fracture risk factors, B. Grew social media channels, and C. Moderated HealthUnlocked, a peer-to-peer support network where patients, caregivers, and health advocates share their experiences safely online with guidance from American Bone Health.
