Program areas at Alpha Phi International Fraternity- Omega Chapter
The Organizations exempt purpose includes renting a facility that provides housing for some resident members and provides meeting facilities for all members. The experience of members living together and meeting together provides them with opportunities to support each others endeavors and work together as a team. The Organization also provides a full meal plan to resident members when school is in session and provides a limited meal plan to non resident members when school is in session. The experience of sharing meals teaches social skills, promotes bonds between members and encourages continued membership in the Organization.
Purchased clothing and other branded material to be used by members. Members utilizing Alpha Phi branded materials markets the Organization to potential new members who attend the University. The use of branded material also identifies members and encourages non members to inquire about membership.
All members participate in formal recruitment training and formal recruitment that takes place over a number of days. As a result of their efforts 90 members joined the Organization. Participation in recruitment activities promotes bonds between members and teaches valuable interviewing and social skills.
