National fundraising activities: the annual campaign of the alliedjewish Federation of Colorado supports our national jewishcommunity through the Jewish federations of north america (jfna),jewish agency for israel (jafi), american joint distributioncommittee (jdc) and others. As a part of our dedication to engageand connect our Jewish community in Colorado to our Jewish peoplein israel and around the world, Federation raises and distributesfunds to support the vulnerable and disadvantaged, educate theyoung, respond to emergencies and ensure a vibrant jewishcommunity today and into the future.
Community planning and outreach activities: the Allied jewishfederation of Colorado convenes community organizations toleverage and streamline service delivery to the community.federation plans for current local operational needs and nearfuture capital needs. We educate the community about advocacy forjudaism and israel. We serve as the unifying agency for programsthat engage and connect jews to their Jewish community. Ourannual campaign funds programs such as jewishcolorado.orgcommunity website, online community calendar, "what's happening injewish Colorado" monthly e-newsletter, the Jewish communityrelations council (jcrc), early childhood education scholarshipfund and others.
