Program areas at African Voices Communications

African Voices Magazine - Organization published two print issues and one digital issue. The publication offers monthly updates to our website for online readers. Five editors and the publisher select the content from over 300 annual sumissions of fiction, poetry and art. Fifty emerging writers a year are published.
Reel Sisters is the first Academy Qualifying Film Festival for narrative shorts devoted to women filmmakers. Reel Sisters is devoted to providing opportunities for women of color filmmakers.
Readings, Workshops and Performance Series - The program offers book signings for authors, writers forums, literary readings and Write On, which offers memoir, novel, poetry and screen writing workshops. Arts Education workshops are offered to young people.
