Program areas at 350org Action
Field: the field program seeks opportunities for community leaders to advocate for bold climate policy. We train volunteers, advocate for clean energy and green jobs, run a summer youth training program, work to stop the approval of fossil fuel projects, and push politicians to improve their climate plans. Additionally, we mobilize the public around major demonstrations like the youth climate strikes in september of 2019, investing in arts, banners and shareable materials.
Digital: the digital program works to connect us communities organizing on climate change to each other and to a national movement for bold public policy on climate change. This work is accomplished through innovative web tools, social media and traditional media with concerned citizens. We connect community members to opportunities for training and civic engagement, information on climate change and relevant policies, and storytelling from the climate movement.
