Usea has organized numerous "cooperative partnerships" between u.s. Organizations and counterparts in developing and transitional economies. These u.s. Organizations have conveyed u.s. Experiences and business regulatory practices to these nations. Activities have been conducted in latin america, africa, asia, the former soviet union and central & eastern europe. Focus areas have included petroleum exploration, production and transportation; natural gas distribution; and electric power production, transmission, distribution and utilization. Practically every aspect of organizational operations has been addressed in these programs.
The indo-pacific Energy market investment and moderization program is a partnership between the u.s. department of state and Usea. The goal of this program is to strengthen the Energy security of u.s. Allies and partners; create open, efficient, rule-based, and transparent Energy markets; improve free, fair, and receipricoal trading relationships, and expand access to affordable, reliable Energy.
Usea, through coooperative agreements with the u.s. department of Energy, supports doe's primary mission to ensure the nation can continue to rely on coal, oil, and natural gas resources for clean, secure, and affordable Energy while enhancing environmental protection. These programs, promoting consensus on fossil Energy technologies: international oil and natural gas, supports doe and the u.s. Energy industry.
