Democracy Works engages voters via Turbovote, howtovote (htv), and the civic alliance. Turbovote helps americans vote by providing registration assistance, mail ballot request guidance, and personalized election notifications. Available in english and spanish, htv provides state-by-state summaries of voter registration and voting rules for all 50 states and the district of columbia. The civic alliance is a nonpartisan business coalition that supports civic engagement via free resources, educational trainings, and events for employees and customers.
Ballot scout is an application that tracks domestic ballots sent through the mail using united states postal service (usps) intelligent mail barcodes. By adding visibility into the mail voting process for voters and election officials, ballot scout returns confidence and trust to the system.
Vip is a partnership between Democracy Works and the states to provide official information to voters about where to vote where they look for it most-online. The only official nationwide elections dataset, vip is published on the google civic api, making it available to hundreds of millions of americans and the civic engagement space at large.
