Bi-monthly Food Distributions continued in the 2022 tax year. Additionally, there were 7 'pop-up' distributions that were hosted at other church locations in the neighboring communities. For the 2022 Tax year "The Storehouse of Northeast Florida" provided food at these 31 events to an average of 226 families with an average of 650 individuals. Thru the support of First Baptist Church Callahan, Feeding Northeast Florida, and The Florida Baptist Convention there was over an estimated 116,897 pounds (58 tons) of food provided to the community. Families received a prepacked large bag of mixed staples and in addition they received fresh and refrigerated goods. With 5,984 families being served and food that was purchased or donated with a value of over $210,720.62 that means that average family received over 20 lbs. and $35 in food at each distribution.
