In fiscal year 2022, The House Foundation for The Arts and meredith monk & vocal ensemble did partake in a minimal number of live performance engagements even though The coronavirus pandemic continued to cause challenges. Programmatic accomplishments included The development and presentation of indras net concert version at mills college in oakland California. Furthermore, The House Foundation premiered monks new collaboration duet behavior 2022, in partnership with national sawdust in brooklyn, ny, to a sold out audience. Duet behavior toured to big ears festival in knoxville, tn where it was presented along with memory game, a partnership with bang on a can. Following big ears festival, monk and vocal ensemble toured to europe to present cellular songs: concert version in holland, paris, nantes and luxembourg as well as offer a three day workshop in ravenna, italy for young professional singers. In addition to touring, The House Foundation continued to produced a series of zoom vocal ensemble workshops as well as a summer in person workshops that took place in monks loft. These workshops focus on connecting and training artists in monk's performance methods and artistic philosophy. In addition to these performances and workshops, monk participated in numerous lectures and conversations about her work throughout The year as well as leading a four day in person workshop at garrison institute in garrison, ny.
