Program areas at Semper Fi and America's Fund

Our service member and family support program provides direct financial assistance for expenses that are most pressing during hospitalization and recovery. The program continues to offer specialized support to improve the lives of veterans and their families once they return home. Areas of assistance offered through this program include bedside support and adaptive housing, transportation, and equipment; help for vietnam veterans, children, and caregivers; as well as relief in times of crisis, disaster, and emergency. In fiscal year 2023, Semper Fi & America's Fund provided family support grants to 10,900 service members, veterans and military families.
Our transition program focuses on helping veterans connect with their communities by providing a wide range of education and career assistance, including our apprenticeship program, one-on-one mentorship, and opportunities to engage with fellow veterans. This program provides our veterans with the skills and resources needed to succeed in the next phases of their lives. In fiscal year 2023, Semper Fi & America's Fund provided transition grants to 1,800 service members, veterans and military families.
Our integrative wellness program applies a holistic approach to long-term health, providing tools to improve mind, body, and spirit. In addition to post-traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injury support, we foster healing in a powerful and sustaining way through cutting-edge technologies, high-tech wellness devices, and our innovative neurofitness program. Areas of assistance also include our sports program, horsemanship program, canine companion program, and therapeutic arts and music program. In fiscal year 2023, Semper Fi & America's Fund provided wellness grants to 2,800 service members, veterans and military families.
