Facilities:ssbg's world class state of the art facility and fleet of vessels are available for community use. The marina, swimming pool, volleyball court, and outdoor chapel.
Sailing:the Galveston community youth sailing center (gcysc) is a sailing sanctioned community sailing center that offers classes, memberships, and programs with a special emphasis on teaching youth and disabled individuals the art of sailing.
Fishing:ssbg offers instructional fishing lessons, as well as fishing charters and fishing from the docks providing opportunities for disadvantaged individuals to learn and experience the joys of fishing and to learn about the ecosystem around the gulf shore, specifically within and around offatts bayou.
