Research related to spinal cord and traumatic brain injury - the Rim Foundation funded treatment for spinal stenosis, which removes fat from the epidural space, helping those who are treated to have less pain standing or walking. This treatment is good for those with co-morbidities and the elderly, as it is minimally invasive. The 3-d virtual reality motion method involves visualizing human movement patterns, which mitigate many of the current issues related to remote monitoring of physical therapy.
The stroke support group gives survivors, caregivers, and family members a place to make friends and socialize with others who have shared similar life experiences.
