Program areas at Period

Service: Period serves people in need by distributing disposable and reusable menstrual products. In 2022, Period distributed enough Period products to serve over 1,000,000 menstrual cycles. Period provided product to 185 non-profit and community organizations. Additionally, our network of over 400 Period chapters throughout 44 us states and 32 countries distributed product locally within their communities
Education: in 2022, Period published two menstrual education curriculum modules, published a blog featuring youth voices read by over 28,000 readers, and engaged in global media campaigns for menstrual equity. Period chapters conducted over 1,000 hours of menstrual education workshops.
Advocacy: in 2022, Period provided grassroots organizing academies to youth activists to support work in their own communities, welcomed 119 new Period chapters, trained 47 Period community organizers, and helped advocate for the advancement of 62 menstrual equity policies in 31 us states, as well as supported 2 federal policies to help make Period products more affordable and accessible for all
