Program areas at TML Multistate Intergovernmental Employee Benefits
TML IEBP provides and administers health benefits for approximately 43,000 public employees and dependents. Our mission is to provide high quality, high value services for employees of local governments in the State of Texas, to include some of the following types of employers: cities, special districts; MUD, Hospital etc., housing authorities, COGS, and school districts.
During the current year, TML IEBP opened a captive reinsurance fund. With this, we retained claims risk to a level of $1.5 million dollars. Previously, 3rd party reinsurance was purchased for claims risk at this level.
