The mission is accomplished through promoting the development within the greater monongahela valley area of Health and welfare services, facilities and programs which will enhance the general Health and welfare of the community by increasing the accessibility, continuity and quality of services provided to the residents of the community. Mon-Vale Health Resources, Inc. Provides various activities including fund-raising, the securing of grants and contracts, joint planning and marketing for subsidiary enterprises, public relations activities and the general promotion of Health, welfare, education and other charitable purposes.during the three months ended september 30, 2021, Mon-Vale Health Resources, Inc. Conducted a variety of community projects, which include the following:mon-vale Health Resources, Inc. Sponsored the "newspapers in education" program in which the mini-page is presented weekly within a local newspaper (the valley independent). This special page features valuable insight and games that entice children to want to read and learn. Over 41,000 students per month in 7 area school districts participate in this program. Students are encouraged to take the newspapers home and encourage literacy skills within the family. The program also provides workbooks for teachers showing them how the nie concept can be used for math, science, geography, reading, english and history classes.mon-vale Health Resources, Inc. also provided nearly $7,000 of funding to various community organizations like the mon valley ymca, the rostraver central volunteer fire company, domestic violence services of sw pa, and various area chambers of commerce.mon-vale Health Resources, Inc. Provided nearly $405 of funding to monongahela valley hospital, Inc. for employee recognition programs.mon-vale Health Resources, Inc. Provides educational programs and Health care services to an area which includes five counties with a population of approximately 2.1 million. The primary and secondary service areas comprise a population of nearly 98,500.
